[Drake Thorne]

This rp takes place in a version where the avengers civil war never took place, meaning that the x-men never broke up because of it. The date is August 23 2042. A typical day in the mansion, Drake and Scarlet teasing and flirting in the most awkward and terrible way imaginable, at least for everyone else. Colin and Kris chilling out in the living area, Alex in his lab and Arty doing his thing. And whoever the fuck else joins idfk.

[Drake Thorne]

It's the first day of classes. And everyone is awake, not by choice, but by the screeching trumpet that had just played over the speakers as if this were a military camp. Class started in two hours.

Eve, as she had even her student call her, walked around the laboratory she would be teaching in. She examined the various microscopes one at a time, making sure they were all properly configured. Silver hair wrapped up in a ponytail, icy blue eyes glancing coldly over the room as she slipped a hand into her lab coat, switching out a culture under the final microscope. She sat behind her desk up at the front as she patiently waited for her students to arrive.

Drake had crashed in Scarlet's room the night before. He woke up, rubbing his eyes and trying to adjust to the darkness of her room. "Wake up shithead." He joked, resting his hand on her shoulder. She had fallen asleep on his chest that night after playing video games until three in the morning.

"Shut up Assface, I'm trying to sleep." Scarlet said, her voice groggy rolling over and falling off the bed. Instead of doing the sensible thing like, i don't know, getting up, Scarlet pulled the blanket off of the bed and covered up with it, not wanting to leave the cocoon of warmth.

[Drake Thorne]

"Come on cock sucker. Get up. First day." He muttered, not even wanting to get up himself. "It's really important...." He said, then drifted off himself.

Blake awoke groggily, turning over in her bed. She covered her head with her pillow to muffle the annoying high-pitched sound of brass instrument. "Dammit..." She mumbled as she rolled out of bed, rolling onto the floor as usual. She shuffled her way on her knees to her drawers, opening them and picking out her outfit all while sitting. Once she was dressed, she went to the bathroom to get ready.

"Bitch," Scarlet muttered, falling back asleep, though there was an alarm set and just as she did so, it went off, Scarlet's annoyed groan resonated and she crawled over to her drasser and attempted to shut it off from the ground but it fell down and kept ringing, the redhead hit again and it shut off. "Time to go to hell, and not the fun kind,"

[Artemis Watson]

Ellis looked over his outfit in his bathroom mirror, sighing at the result of a two-minute scramble for clothes. A dark red, plaid shirt hung over his frame loosely, hiding the beginning of his form-fitting, black jeans. That fabric was tucked carelessly into his brown boots, and his hair was left a somewhat curly mess. "Oh well." He muttered, shrugging with a grin as he left. Taking his backpack before leaving the room, he rushed down the hall, running a hand through his hair in a lazy attempt to maintain it.

Artemis had already gotten ready for the day, wearing a school-branded sweater over a white button-up, both with sleeves rolled up. His khakis were neatly tucked into the dark blue converse he wore, auburn hair left to form naturally--However it could, being as short as it was, regardless of its cut-short sides. He stood just outside Alex's lab, typing on his phone. "You there, nerd?" He called, voice tame, almost uninterested.

[Blake Olson]

Blake left the bathroom, closing the door behind her with her bag full of toiletries in hand. She went back to her room, tucking it back into her drawers. Slinging her backpack over her shoulder, while gathering a few pens and pencils on her nightstand, she dashed out of the room and maneuvered her way to class.

The door to Scarlet's room being thrown open, the wooden entrance hit the wall with a thud. In the doorway stood a pretty ginger girl, pale skin that lacked freckles utterly with vibrant red hair. She smiled those bright white teeth as she placed her key to the rooms in her pocket. Wearing a brown khaki jacket on top of a white T-shirt with a matching skirt and a pair of slip-on shoes. Hair tied back in a green ribbon, she entered the room.
"Wake up, Scarlet." She said, looking around. She yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. She just threw this get up on while checking rooms. She planned to change before classes started in a bit.

"We're awake, leave us alone." Scarlet says in the middle of putting a clean tshirt on.

[Drake Thorne]

"Bleh." Drake muttered, grabbing the outfit he had put in scarlets dresser a few days back. He changed right there, and then groaned exhaustedly.

Lartessa pursed her lips as she wrote something down in the clipboard she carried. "No boys in your room Scarlet. That's a write-up," she said, spinning on her heel before Drake disrobed, and clicking her pen. As she walked out, she piped up. "See you at breakfast! Don't be late for class."
After checking on the other rooms of her floor, she returned to her own. Using a straightener to curl her hair, Lara looked herself in the mirror. Hm. She would have pancakes, this morning.

Scarlet smirked, "Write-up," she scoffed, "classic Lartessa,"

[Drake Thorne]

The trumpets stopped. And over the intercom Alex could be heard."alright students!" He said excitedly. "You all received your schedules last week. When the bell rings in about. Roughly one hour, you all have five minutes to make it to your first period class. Everyone have a wonderful first day back, I hope to see you all learning and using your powers!" And with that, it clicked off. Leaving the halls dead silent.

[Lilibae]

Lartessa sat in the cafeteria, eating a blueberry muffin. Wearing an aurum headband with her fiery hair tied back into a ponytail, she was adorned with a light coating of powder to hide any flaws. She had on a cafe prefect's blazer layered over a white button up shirt and thin red tie, a moss-colored, shield-shaped patch on the left breast of the jacket. Her jeans were worn to contrast the brown penny-loafers she had on. Everything was brought to get her to make every other part fit together.
She looked around for Ellis, who had said he'd eat with her this morning. She sighed. Lara wasn't particularly popular with anyone. Her goody-good reputation made sure of that. While she enjoyed favors and other bribes from students when the prefect learned of unsavory information, she had grown tired of being excluded from any and every social gathering for fear she might tattle. Resting her head in her right hand, Lara took another bite of the muffin, frowning as she chewed.

Ellis wandered into the cafeteria, sighing as he looked over the crowd of freaks. Once he spotted the student he'd promise to meet, he rushed toward her table. Objecting tables and students were hardly an issue--Passing through his phased figure. Eventually he sat at the table, with a faint smile forming as he regained solidity. "Hey, loser." He muttered, digging his pockets into his jeans.
This would be his first year, having spent the better half of his summer at the school to adjust. He had a decent grip on his abilities by now, though occasionally he'd fall through a bench, or his bed. This, coupled with his generally annoying personality didn't get him far up in the school's popularity... Pyramid? Food chain? Whatever, they were all misfits anyway. The idea of popularity and Plastic-esque cliques was ridiculous.

"Well... That answers that." Artemis muttered, rolling his eyes. He tucked his phone away, beginning to walk away from the lab's entrance. He looked around the sub-basement, making sure no one was near him as he headed back the elevator that brought him down.

Lara smiled at him. "Hi. How're you adjusting to the school so far? I hope everything is going well," she said, before taking another bite of her muffin. "I trust you're not still falling through the second floor."

Scarlet arrived in the cafeteria and sat down next to Lara, "If you don't write me up I'll take you to that thing," Scarlet offers, adjusting the strings on her sweatshirt.

Ellis shrugged Scarlet off, rolling his eyes some. "Well, no one's come up with a mutation-suppressing shoe heel, and most--if not all--of the students here are diet-narcissists. All they care about is getting laid, seeming funny, and being the best unpopular kid in school. "Other than the constant gene-fails and generically unique assholes though, pretty decent." He answered, air-quoting with every italicized emphasis.

[Blake Olson]

Blake slid next to Ellis, sandwiching him between her and Lara with her lunch plate in her grip. She set it down, "Sitting next to the prefect to get free passes? Great idea!" She encouraged with a thumbs up. "Hey, hit me up too Lara." Blake leaned over and grinned to Lara.

Lara laughed at them, turning to Scarlet and raising an eyebrow. "What thing?" She looked back at the others at the table. "Is there a thing?"

"ComicCon?AnimeCon? That Documentary about leaves in IMax, seriously, I am super bored, Drake is getting annoying and I need to do something with out him," Scarlet says, her tone going from steady to almost panicked.

[Lilibae]

Lara shrugged. "I'd like to go see a movie, if that's alright." She looked around at the rest of the table. "Would anyone else like to come?"
